Funding & Sustainability

We provide a range of advice, support, information and training to help voluntary and community groups explore the different funding opportunities available and make successful funding applications.

The CVS also acts as an independent and trusted adviser to a number of grant distributors, as well as administrating a number of small funding pots. One pot we are currently helping to administer is the Community First fund targeted at Pitsea North and Pitsea South East. This is covered at greater length in our projects section. So click here for more information.

Our Development Services Manager is able to give funding advice and support on funding opportunities and approaches to fund raising.

This includes:

  • Identifying and monitoring outcomes in a straightforward way.
  • Exploring the best way of improving your organisation’s financial sustainability.

We offer this support either at a face-to-face meetings, by phone and/or by email. We have good relationships with local funders and we can also help you review applications that have been unsuccessful or help clarify any issues or problems that crop up.
