Procurement of an intermediary to run a VCS Leadership Programme in Essex

Procurement of an intermediary to run a VCS Leadership Programme in Essex

The VCS Leadership Programme in Essex aims to develop a cohort of future leaders for the voluntary and community sector growing their skills and capability for the long term in order to bring on a new generation of potential leaders.

It will select 15 participants from the Voluntary and Community Sector, each of whom will receive a bespoke Personal Development Plan.  The plans will identify a range of development activities including coaching/mentoring, accredited leadership training, secondments, placements, and ‘go and see’ opportunities.

These opportunities will allow participants to develop new skills both through more formal learning and also to apply them in a practical way on real-life issues by providing ‘on the job’ experience in the workplace.

Essex County Council will be running a procurement exercise to commission the intermediary who will be responsible for the management and delivery of the programme.  The intermediary’s role will include developing a bespoke personal development plan with each participant, setting up and brokering opportunities as set out in the plans, and monitoring and evaluating each participant’s progress.

The request for quotation (RFQ) will be issued to interested parties by email on Monday 15th May.  To register your interest, please email by Friday 12th May.
