Making Every Contact Count Training

BBWCVS in partnership with PROVIDE are pleased to be offering Making Every Contact Count training (MECC) to all professionals and volunteers.

 MECC training is suitable for health professionals or anyone with service user facing occupations who can offer health and wellbeing advice and signposting.

 Learning Outcomes:

  • To have an awareness of the effects poor lifestyle choices can have on health
  • To have an understanding of behaviour, conditioning and learning theory
  • To enable delivery of brief intervention to patients, carers and staff on health and wellbeing issues (Ask, Advise, Act)
  • To know how to refer service users into Essex Lifestyle service
  • To be aware of Health & Wellbeing Services available in Essex
