Travelling by Car

Directions from the M25 using the A13

Take junction 30 from the M25, heading in the Basildon/Southend direction on the A13. Continue along the A13 for approx 8 miles. At the 5 Bells Roundabout (the Harvester Restaurant on your left), use the filter lane to come off of the A13 and on to the A176 (Nethermayne). Continue, up the hill, until the next roundabout ( Basildon Hospital on the left).  At the roundabout take the fourth turning, following the road down the hill, and straight ahead at the traffic lights.  At the next roundabout take the 3rd left. At the 4th set of traffic lights turn right into Southernhay and keep to the right hand lane, through the traffic lights into Great Oaks and take first left into the car park (opposite the fire station).  This is the closest public car park to the George Hurd Centre.

On foot, head towards the Staples Store crossing the Great Oaks road, turn left past Staples into Southernhay and walk towards the traffic lights at Ghyllgrove. Cross into Ghyllgrove and take the first turning on the left which is Audley Way and the George Hurd Centre is the first building on the left..
