FORUMS AND NETWORKS
VOLUNTARY
SECTOR FORUM
BBWCVS
takes the lead role in the development of a Voluntary
Sector Forum.
Click on the link below to read the terms of reference
which set out the aims, objectives, values and
membership for the Forum and some of the methods that will be
applied in order to achieve these goals.
The
Forum meets bi-monthly and is the mechanism through which the
local voluntary sector can feed in to the Local Strategic
Partnership and Thematic Groups. Please
BBWCVS have
reviewed all forums as there has been poor attendance
at forum meetings in the last few months. It was agreed at
the consultation
event held on 9th November 2006 that a new format for the
meetings be used. Please click here to read the Report
from Consultation event 9th November 2006.
One meeting will
be held quarterly and will include all forums, workshops
will be held within this meeting to discuss items around the
themes of the previous forums.
If you require
any more information please contact the CVS Office on 01268
294124 or email admin@bbwcvs.org.uk
The
forum now also has an internet discussion room if you would like to
join this please email admin@bbwcvs.org.uk.
It is intended that these discussions complement discussion at
the forum meetings.
The Voluntary Sector
Forum also organises a Voluntary Sector Conference. This year's
conference was called The Way Forward - Valuing the Voluntary
Sector and took place in March 2007. For more information please
read the
report.
