KEY FUND Training
courses in communities
Earlier in 2007 funding was
secured from Key Fund managed by Essex Community Foundation to provide IT training courses for the residents of
Queens Park and Craylands/Fryerns East and support publication
of quarterly newsletters in both areas.
The first IT training course covered
basic word processing skills and was very successful. There are
2 more courses that have been organised for January and February
2008 which will cover desktop publishing and digital imaging.
The courses will be run from an IT mobile classroom provided by
Adult Community Learning Essex. It has 8 computer stations on
board. It will be parked at community centre car parks.
The courses are FREE for all
the residents.
If you are interested in any of this courses and would like to
reserve your place please contact your Community Development
Worker Artak on 01277 658086 or email
artak@bbwcvs.org.uk.
