COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT  

Artak Poghosyan was appointed as the Community Development Worker at BBWCVS early in 2006. Artak's work includes the neighbourhoods of Queens Park in Billericay and Craylands/Fryern’s East in Basildon. The post is funded  through the Fair Share Trust Programme which is managed by Essex Community Foundation.
The objectives of this new post at BBWCVS is to work with local residents enabling them to identify and prioritise shared issues and concerns in their communities.
Artak is  also responsible for building on and developing the skills, knowledge and the experience within these communities enabling them to fully participate in the decision-making processes that affect their lives.
